Case Overview
Cherries have always been a significant specialty of Dalian, renowned both at home and abroad. HOLD HILL is a new food brand centered around cherries. Unlike ToB customer service, given its ToC nature, DTUY has a long-term perspective and has built a solid brand and product protection wall for HOLD HILL.
In terms of strategy, cherry pie is a new product keyword. DTUY takes cherry pie as the core and, when creating the enterprise website, did not use a large number of fixed templates but adopted a customized development and design approach. In terms of design aesthetics and section coordination, it has a strong visual impact.
1.Brand Visual Design
Main Colors and Brand Tone: The main colors are red (cherry red) and gold. Red symbolizes the freshness and passion of cherries, while gold conveys a sense of high-end quality. The overall visual style aligns with the brand's positioning of "romance, sweetness, and good luck".
Layout and Composition: A large amount of white space and symmetrical layout create a sense of sophistication. The proportion of images to text is well balanced to avoid information overload. For instance, on product display pages, large images are the main focus, with concise text highlighting key selling points.
2.Content section layout
Brand story: Convey cultural connotations through the brand concept of "Looking forward to the back mountain in spring, good things are brewing."
Product Introduction: Highlight the core selling points such as "Authentic and High-Quality Cherries" and "National Geographical Indication Product", showcase the two techniques of flaky pastry and peach kernel pastry, as well as a variety of flavors.
Innovation in craftsmanship: Emphasizing the dual-layer pastry technique that combines ancient methods with modern ones, and elaborately explaining the production process with both text and images.
Cultural integration: Incorporating elements of Dalian's city culture (such as the century-old tram, Hutan Lighthouse, and the women's mounted police force) to enhance regional characteristics.
Dynamic interactive design: Dynamic effects such as product switching and image carousels enhance user experience. For instance, the "Good Luck Scenarios" section showcases different usage scenarios (breakfast, afternoon tea, parties, etc.) through dynamic illustrations.
3.Creating visual impact
Use of large images and close-ups: The homepage features a large close-up image of a cherry pie, paired with the slogan "A cherry pie you can eat the cherries from", immediately capturing attention.
Contrast and layering design: The "distinct layers" of puff pastry and the "smooth and soft" texture of peach kernel pastry are visually presented through contrasting colors and texture patterns.
Emotional design: Integrate the concept of "good luck" throughout, such as the copy "Good Luck Cake" and "Good Luck Afternoon Tea", and launch limited-edition gift boxes in conjunction with festival scenes (Spring Festival, Winter Solstice) to evoke emotional resonance.
